Wendy and Rod Ellison welcome you to Winlea. Renowned for a great breakfast, we offer you a comfortable stay in our home overlooking the beautiful town of Kendal and surrounding areas. We will do our best to make your stay a memorable one.

Winlea was built in 1880 and is a late Victorian house with open views front and back, offering off-road parking. Situated approximately 10 minutes walk from Kendal town centre, a bustling country town with local shops, a market, restaurants and pubs. Known as the 'gateway to the Lakes', Kendal is approximately 20 minutes drive from Windermere and 10 minutes from J36 of the M6 motorway.

The well-furnished rooms have TV, tea & coffee making facilities, radio alarms and hair dryers. All rooms have en-suite shower facilities. If required, safe cycle storage can be arranged. Winlea is a non-smoking establishment. Single night bookings are not available over the bank holiday periods. On the day of your departure, rooms must be vacated by 10am. Prices from £25 per person.
