Gardens

The gardens of Trelissick, Trengwainton, Trebah and Glendurgan are about 45 minutes drive and Trevarno is 15 mins drive from Parc Cres. The Eden Project and Heligan are about 1 hours drive.

Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station

This is the largest satellite earth station the world. It transmits millions of phone calls, emails and TV broadcasts to every corner of the globe through its enormous satellite dishes. You can take a guided tour to see the dishes at close hand. There is a Visitor Centre, Childrens' Play Area, Big Dish Café and shops. Located just 15 minutes by car from Parc Cres.

Flambards Theme Park - Helston

Something for all the family, whatever the weather. Includes Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz, rides for the children and a restaurant. There is also a garden centre. Firework displays during August. Located just 10 mins by car from Parc Cres.

National Maritime Museum

Opened in 2003 the museum looks set to be the aquatic Eden. Something for all the family whatever the weather. You can set sail and experience racing in a regatta, a storm at sea or the calm of the estuary. The Flotilla is a 'canyon like' gallery, view 26 historic crafts including 18 suspended in the air like the world's largest boatmobile. Climb to the top of the tower for breathtaking views. Tidal Zone - Experience lift under the sea through two 5 metre high tidal windows. Located 40 mins by car from Parc Cres.

St Michael's Mount - Marazion

Access is by Causeway on foot at low tide. A ferry boat takes you across at high tide. Open all year. Castle open from 10.30am to 5.30am. There are guided tours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday weather and tide permitting. Located 35 mins from Parc Cres.

How to Find Us

Directions:

Take the A3083 from Helston to the Lizard. When you get to Mullion Holiday Park turn right (sign Mullion). Come through the village and take the first right - come past the Old Inn and keeping left you will see the fire station set back on the right - then take the first left - sign "LAFLOUDER FIELDS" - Parc Cres is approximately 300yds on the right hand side.
