Welcome

Your hosts, Marilyn and Roger Webster, welcome you to The Old Bakery Bed and Breakfast in Whitchurch Village on the southern outskirts of Bristol. The Old Bakery is an architect designed conversion of a former small factory which has featured in several national newspapers and magazines. Built originally as the village bakery in 1926, the building became a confectioners and later a sausage and beefburger factory. The current owners bought it in 1999 and the conversion was completed in 2001.

The property is convenient for Bristol, Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Bristol International Airport. It is easy to find on the main Bristol/Wells road and there is ample off street parking directly outside the property and in an additional site across the road.

Breakfast (English and Continental) is served in the large open plan kitchen/dining/living area upstairs or it can be delivered to the guest rooms. We use local organic produce where possible and we are happy to cater for vegetarians. Our continental breakfasts (croissants, pains au chocolats and pains raisins) are freshly baked on the premises. There is an excellent range of dining out options within easy reach of The Old Bakery - from The Carvery (approx 100 yards) to good Indian, Moroccan, Chinese and English food within five miles. Excellent country pub food is also nearby and the renowned 'Glasnost' restaurant in Totterdown is about 3 miles away.
