The West Midlands Safari Park
Drive around and see over 40 rare and exotic species including rare white tigers, elephants and hippos. A pets corner where young children can touch and feed many of the small, tame animals. An amusement area packed with thrilling rides and live shows.

The Severn Valley Railway
This beautifully restored railway offers a 16-mile journey through glorious countryside from Kidderminster to Brignorth. Trains operate at weekends all year long and daily from mid May to mid October.

Royal Worcester Visitor Centre
This famous porcelain factory nestling among Victorian buildings, offers factory tours, hands on activities, a Museum of its history plus a chance to buy many of its products at full or clearance prices. There is a also a restaurant small courtyard of complimentary shops.

The Elgar Birthplace Museum
A fascinating insight into Elgar's life and music, family and friends. Photographs and memorabilia are displayed in the country cottages where he was born. Letters, manuscripts, concert programs and other treasures exploring the composer's musical development and inspirations.

Bodenham Arboretum & Earth Centre
Award-winning Arboretum, landscaped in 34 acres, containing over 2,600 species of trees, and shrubs; 4 miles of gravel and grass paths, lakes, woods and glades, rich in habitat for wild flowers, water fowl and other birds. Unique Earth Visitor Centre and restaurant.

How to Find Us

We are located in the village of Hartlebury, 9 miles from Worcester, 5 miles from Kidderminster and 3 miles from Stourport on Severn.

Directions:

Leave the M5 at Junction 6 and follow A449 Kidderminster signs. After approximately 8 miles, you will reach a traffic island with a large Victorian pub called the Mitre Oak. Turn right around the island (third exit) and then immediately left down a private tree lined drive. We are the black and white 'L' shaped cottage at the end.

The area offers miles of way marked walking paths from easy going nature trails, riverside paths and forest trails to long distance walks. There are also many opportunities for horse riding and cycling and miles of peaceful riverbanks and canal towpaths to enjoy.

The City of Worcester boasts a magnificent Cathedral, the splendid Guildhall, Royal Worcester Porcelain, The Commandery Civil War Centre and various museums. Worcester Racecourse with its exciting National Hunt programme and the County Cricket ground offers an exciting day out for sports lovers.
