Excellent award winning farmhouse B&B on our friendly family run working farm close to York. Nominated AA Landlady of the year for the past two years. Local produce used, home made breads, jams, cakes. Guests' own large lounge/dining room with fridge, TV, video, CD player, open fire, books and games. Maps, umbrellas and torches to borrow. Ideal for visiting York, coast, moors, Flamingo Land, Herriot and Heartbeat Country lots to see and do. Pub 10 minutes walk for food. I do a wide variation for breakfast, from the famous Yorkshire breakfast to vegetarian alternatives, if it's not on the menu then ask, I aim to please. Watch me cook your breakfast in our farmhouse kitchen or watch the many birds have their breakfasts on the feeders in our garden or the farm animals in the fields.

I regret to say smoking is not permitted in doors. No under 5's. Sorry no pets (kennels and cattery 3 miles away, discounts for B&B guests).
