THE ROUND HOUSE
Stunning 16th Century barn in peaceful village near Barnstaple, Exmoor and coast.
The Round House is a tastefully converted barn set in the idyllic rolling countryside of North Devon. The house is full of character and beautifully decorated and furnished. The lounge which is round in shape is where donkeys were used, walking round in circles, to drive machinery to grind corn. The house is set in approximately two acres of gardens and paddock. We have been offering bed & breakfast for several years now and are highly recommended by all of our guests. We are only a small establishment offering two twin/family bedrooms and one single room. All meals are cooked on an aga, and evening meals are available on request. Loxhore is the 2006 winner of the Calor Gas Best Village in Devon Award. Barnstaple 5 miles.
