St Benedict's Byre is 120-year-old property full of character.
St Benedict's Byre was built approximately 120 years ago and was used as a milking parlour until 1999 when it was converted to become the beautiful property it is today. One part of the property was used for housing the cattle in bad weather and the rest was the parlour itself. St Benedict's Byre benefits from an expansive well maintained garden which guests are more than welcome to use. The garden backs onto fields resulting in a scenic countryside view in all directions. The main accommodation has its own small terrace and private entrance, it offers either twin beds or a super king sized double bed with en-suite shower, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. This room is large enough to accommodate a child's travel cot. There is an adjoining bedroom which can accommodate 1 or 2 children/adults. Battle 5 miles.

THE OLD VICARAGE B&B
The Old Vicarage B&B is a charming period house.
The Old Vicarage was built in 1820 and provides an ideal country retreat perfect for any occasion. It is located next to the Norman church of All Saints and St Nicolas. The village of Icklesham is a few miles from the ancient Cinque Ports of Rye (5 miles) and Winchelsea (2 miles) off the main road to Hastings (7 miles). We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, apple orchards with many public footpaths, and a nature conservation wood within easy walking distance from the house. The Queen's Head is a popular, dog friendly pub five minutes walk away, with outside tables and spectacular views of the Brede Valley, the sea, and Rye. We have ample parking space and the gates are locked at night. The two bedrooms are at the top of the house with delightful views, both have double beds with en suite bathrooms. We have wireless broadband for all our guests. In residence are Bertie and Dennis our two cats and our dog Max. If you want to bring your pet let us know and we will explain the house rules.
